Important Dates To Remember for Senior Project

  • Selection of Topic:  September 19
  • Mentor Selection: October 6
  • Letter of Intent: October 11
  • October/November: Spend time with mentor
  • October/November: Begin research
  • November 23: 5 source cards and 10 information cards due
  • January 17: 10 source cards and 20 information cards due
  • January 30: 10 source cards and 30 information cards due
  • January 30: Begin outline for essay
  • February 16: First Draft - Senior Project Paper Due – submit to Student Faculty Adviser
    o 10 page paper (not including title page and bibliography)
    o Times New Roman - 12 font size with 1 inch margins on all sides
  • February 28: Second Draft - Project Paper Due – to Faculty Adviser & Administrator
  • March: Final Senior Project Paper Due – to Faculty Adviser & Administrator
  • May 18: Senior Project Oral Presentation (10 minute student presentations)
  • June: Education Fair and Graduation Presentation of Senior Projects
